Flourish is the word I claimed for myself in 2019 when I left behind a lifetime of trauma, started this business, and hoped for a new future for me and my daughters. As a single mother and a teacher, I find myself in a season where each moment of my life is full of responsibility, and I'm practicing the art of true spiritual and physical self-care. In my journey of healing from trauma and years of severe dissociation, it was through my self-care routine that I learned how to cultivate my wholeness and stay present in the moment.

In 2018, my passion for environmentalism and education led me to found Spokane Zero Waste. After leading events and teaching about ecofriendly living in the community, I decided it was time to create a business that made ecofriendly living a reality.

Here you will find those tools to bring peaceful moments into your life. One of my greatest passions is creating beauty all around me  -  even in something as simple as a bar of soap.

 

Flourish products are thoughtfully handmade in small batches with moisturizing plant oils, plant butters, clays, herbal infusions, salts, and dried botanicals. I use the traditional cold process method to make true artisanal soap and shampoo bars with the highest quality ingredients. From making products to packaging your order, every step is handled by me. You'll find my cozy workshop in Spokane, Washington up in the Pacific Northwest.

Earth-friendly and luxury are a potent combination. We are dedicated to caring for our planet and rest in the knowledge that all of our products are safe for the water and wildlife.

 

VEGAN AND NATURAL

 

Our blend of plant oils and butters, alongside pure essential oils and natural colors in clays or botanicals, create a nourishing formula for healthy skin. Animal fats ( tallow ) are never used in our workshop, as plants provide all the powerful ingredients needed.

FREE FROM SYNTHETICS

Every product is paraben-free and phthalates-free. No synthetic colors, micas, fragrance oils, or synthetic additives are ever used in our products. We only source what nature provides.

 

PLASTIC FREE

 

Special recycled labels and packaging ensure that the consumer can easily reuse, recycle, or compost everything they receive, 100% plastic-free.

PALM OIL FREE

 

It is imperative that we avoid palm oil, as it is harvested by enslaved women and children and is a leading cause of deforestation. We choose other, ethically sourced ingredients.

 

HANDMADE

 

We use only traditional artisan methods to handcraft small batches of real products from scratch. No premade bases are used.
